BaggageTAXI is your trusted online technology platform, we provide on-demand & scheduled pick-up, storage, same day storage, short-term and long-term for personal items and more, offering seamless convenience for travelers & residence - giving you full control over your time and travel plans. In addition we may offer tailored solution such as Airline, VIP, FPO, Butler services throughout our partner network.

BaggageTAXI operates these services and also uses a network of verified partners that provide, storage solutions and secure transportation, whether you need to store your belongings for a few hours, days, or even months.

To access our services, you may be required to create an account and/or provide valid payment information. Please ensure that all details you provide remain accurate and up to date.

Before using the BaggageTAXI platform, we encourage you to read these Terms of Use carefully, as they contain important information about your rights, responsibilities, and our service policies.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") between you ("Customer", "you", "your") and BaggageTAXI related Services including but not limited to the (i) BaggageTAXI website www.BaggageTAXI.com including any and all other sites that redirect to our Website, any subdomains and any web or mobile applications that relate to the Services (operated by BaggageTAXI or by any of our partners) ("Website"), (ii) the BaggageTAXI App ("App"), (iii) BaggageTAXI plan, (iv) BaggageTAXI subscription and (v) any products, or services made available to you by us (collectively, "Platforms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Services offered by BaggageTAXI.

Your access and use of the Platform and/or the Services constitute your express agreement to be bound by these Terms and establishes a contractual relationship between you and BaggageTAXI.

1. Services & Interpretations & Definitions

Unless defined elsewhere in the Terms, the following definitions are set below:

Account/Member
a user account created by you, as a customer or a user account created by an interdepend service provider of BaggageTAXI (i.e., driver, third party etc) for the purposes of using the Platform for the Services.
Arriving Service
customers arriving at the airport with booked delivery service to any address on arrival city. Handlers will wait free of charge up to 30min after booked arriving time.
Baggage & Items
we might refer to your Baggage as Items with some terminology.
Baggage Collection
Meaning BaggageTAXI collecting/pickup your Baggage/Items from your order to your provided address as per order date and time. Collection at curbside unless arriving in Airports.
Booking
means a Booking request that has been confirmed by us and notified to you as being accepted.
Booking Request
means a formal request to a formal submission date by a customer or user to reserve any of BaggageTAXI services, which will be processed cash payment – Only registered members are authorized for cash payments.
Collection Point
means the location at which we will collect/pick-up your baggage as set out in a Booking.
Collection Time
means the time window set out in the booking during which we must collect your baggage from the Baggage Collection Point - there can be a 30min collection window for drivers to arrive.
Daily Storage Fees
refers to the charge incurred daily for keeping Baggage in BaggageTAXI capacity.
Departing Service
customers departing via airport. Section 8 below describes the specific terms and conditions related to this aspect of our Services.
Delivery
means the delivery by us of your baggage from the Collection Point to Delivery Point.
Delivery Point
means the location at which we will deliver your baggage as defined in a Booking.
Delivery Period
means the time window which you will collect your baggage following Delivery as set out in a Booking.
Force Majeure
means without limitation, any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control rendering performance of the Services impossible or impractical, including but not limited to acts outside human control, fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm, storm, extreme weather conditions or other natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic or serious risk to health, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, closure of airspace, in position of sanctions, embargo, breaking off of diplomatic relations or similar actions, terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, labor disputes involving complete or partial stoppages of work or delay in the performance of work, Acts of God, power failure, any act of any government or public authority, loss of systems, networks, equipment or data (including, without limitation, the Internet or any telecommunications or utilities network or equipment)
Free Luggage Storage
Customers can drop & pick-up their baggage at BaggageTAXI HQ (Free self-service drop & pick) or mobile vans across town (price varies by country) and avail 24hrs free storage for three bags, valid on all services, except long term storage. Refer to section 16 to view complete details.
Handler
drivers and customer service agents within BaggageTAXI company that manage our customer journey. They collect, seal & deliver your baggage.
Members
users who have opted for the registration of an account and BaggageTAXI subscription service.
Long Term Storage
service refers to Baggage or item stored with a minimum duration of 30+ days. All long-term storage is charged for full 30 days in duration. Any customers booked with long term storage and wanting earlier removal must pay a removal fee of 250AED + 50 AED delivery charge in the UAE (price varies by country).
Passenger transportation
In the UAE, passenger services are provided to tourists.
Pricing
means the fees for our Services that are displayed on our Platforms as being applicable at the time that you make your Booking.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
means any item/goods prohibited for air transportation by any regulatory or government body, including but not limited to items that are illegal, hazardous or dangerous, any animals and any other item considered by us to be hazardous, dangerous or prohibited under any applicable law. You the customer are fully liable for any baggage content and potential damages it may cause to third parties. For more information please refer to TSA: at https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all. In addition we want to make all customers aware of local UAE Government in restricted items for the UAE.
Partners
companies that are registered and promote BaggageTAXI services to potential customers to enhance their customer journey and signed up with a Partner/Affiliate Agreement.
Personal items
your personal items, non-commercial, movable belongings owned by the customer, which are intended for individual use
Refer & Earn
individuals or companies that are registered to promote BaggageTAXI services.
Same Day Storage Services
included are 24 hours of storage with any services booked.
Services
means our services of collecting, delivering, storing and transporting your items/baggage as set out in these Terms.
Short Term Storage Service
storage service used less than 30.
Sport Equipment
are defined as bulk items such as bicycles, sport bags such as Golf bags.
Standard Baggage
sizes not exceeding totals of 180cm and 32KG per maximum weight.
Strollers, Baby Car Seat
will be transported.
Storage Location
means a secure storage facility maintained for the provision of our Services with UAE regulated room temperature of 24 +/- Celsius.
International Shipping
Terms & Conditions apply as per selected 3PL carrier services selected by customer.
Storage Services
defines daily, short- or long-term storage.
UAE Transfer Delivery
any services that need cross state delivery within United Arab Emirates.
VIP Service
Dedicated staff with van for a special time period for full service with door-to-door service.
You
means any person who makes a Booking Request or uses the Platform (whether directly or indirect).
Your Baggage (or "baggage")
means that we are only accepting your personal baggage, no animals accepted.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing and/or using our Platforms and/or Services, you expressly agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the Platforms and/or Services immediately.

In addition to these Terms, when using our Platform and/or Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions imposed by such partners, which may be made available by the relevant partner at any time. In the event of any conflict between such additional terms and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail.

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time to accommodate new features, services and functionalities on the Platforms and/or Services in addition to reflecting prevailing changes in applicable laws. Such revised terms will apply from the date of publication and notification. We advise that you visit this page on a regular basis to review these Terms. If you continue to use Platforms and/or Services after the Terms have been updated, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised Terms. If you do not agree to such revised Terms, you must stop using the Platforms and/or Services with immediate effect.

The rights and duties granted or imposed under these Terms operate to the extent not excluded by law (for example these Terms do not limit any consumer warranties that may not be excluded by contract). Nothing in these Terms will prevent us from complying with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom & United States.

3. Availability of Platforms & Services

The Platforms and/or Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and your usage of the Platforms and/or Services hereunder are constituted at your own risk.

No warranty or undertaking is provided with respect to the Platform and/or Services regarding fitness for any purpose or that the Platform and/or Services are, compatible, safe, secure, available, uninterrupted, or free from errors or defects or that any information or content provided by us is complete, accurate or of a certain quality. BaggageTAXI is under no obligation to update information on the Website or in the App.

We reserve the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any part (or the whole of) the Platforms and/or Services. These Terms shall continue to apply to any modified version of the Platforms and/or the Services unless it is expressly stated otherwise. Except as otherwise expressly agreed by BaggageTAXI in writing, information regarding our Services is subject to change without notice

4. Disclaimers

Information about our Services made available on and/or through the Platforms shall not constitute a representation, warranty, or any other commitment by BaggageTAXI with respect to any product or service offered unless otherwise expressly agreed to by BaggageTAXI in writing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind (whether expressed or implied), including the implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and freedom from defects, errors, viruses or other destructive code on the Platforms. Whilst we use reasonable endeavors to ensure that the Platforms are secure and free of errors, viruses and other malware, we give no warranty or guarantee in that regard and you must take responsibility for your own security, that of their personal details and their electronic devices.

We accept no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Platforms and/or Services.

In case of Force Majeure such that BaggageTAXI is unable to perform in whole or in part its obligations set forth in these Terms, then BaggageTAXI shall be relieved of those obligations to the extent it is unable to perform them and such inability to perform shall not make BaggageTAXI liable to any other party.

5. Use of the Platforms and Services

The use of our Platforms and Services require access to the internet and availability of the App. You are solely responsible for providing your own access (e.g. computer, mobile device, internet connection, etc.) to the Website and App.

To authenticate your use of the Platforms and/or Services, we (or a designated third-party provider) may need to send you codes via text messages, emails or phone calls. You consent to receiving such communications from us.

By creating an Account, you agree that BaggageTAXI may contact you via email, mail, phone or text messages at any of the addresses or phone numbers provided by you, or via the App. Communication may include, but is not limited to marketing purposes, general updates to Service usage, updates to App features, important user or company updates etc.

You may opt out of marketing communication via the provided unsubscribe link or by contacting us at any time at [email protected]

6. Bookings & Services

A Booking Request can be made via our hotline customer service, our website or application Platforms, or partners.

BaggageTAXI reserves the right to decline or reject any Booking Request or to cancel any accepted Booking at its sole discretion.

A Booking Request will only be deemed a confirmed Booking if you have received written confirmation (either via e-mail or other notification) confirming your Booking Request and the payment has been processed and accepted by us.

BaggageTAXI reserves the right to refuse any baggage presented to us at our sole discretion without stating reasons. In such circumstances, the relevant Booking may be cancelled.

You understand and acknowledge that we will not be required to provide our Services in respect of a Booking where the number of items of baggage submitted in the Booking is not equal to the number of items of baggage left at the Collection Point. In such circumstances, the relevant Booking may be cancelled.

You understand and acknowledge that access to the Platforms and/or provision of the Services may be suspended temporarily and without notice. We will not assume any liability and/or responsibility for such suspension.

Anyone using our services agrees to our Terms and Conditions and understands the prohibited items usage policy.

All Bookings & subsequent provision of Services are subject to these Terms.

We have a 30-day, 100% money back guarantee for paid services, if you are not happy with services booked and paid for on our website and app.

7. Services Overview (price varies per country)

Departing and Arriving customers & UAE Transfer:

  • Services includes curbside Collection, Storage and Same Day delivery or short & long-term storage.
  • All bookings include a 24hrs hold time for two (Europe) or three bags (UAE) and storage for first day, each additional day will be charged at 29 AED per day, per 24hrs, per baggage piece. First three baggage pieces are free.
  • The maximum waiting time is 15 minutes. After that, each minute will be charged at 2 AED per minute (price varies per country).
  • Customers not collecting their baggage at the requested time will be automatically put into Daily Storage, unless customer service has been informed.
  • For Airport Delivery we must cross-check Customer Passport & ID and keep a copy, this is also for your safety in case you lose or break your phone so you can claim your baggage and we can cross-check your credentials.
  • For other Hospitality Delivery we must have copy of Passport & Booking reference number.
  • The standard minimum of 1 hrs pre-booking notice is needed but can be adjusted up to 4hrs.
  • If Hotel has fixed collection daily, then bookings can be accepted up to collection time of BaggageTAXI arrival.
  • Baggage stored for same day delivery are considered up to 24hrs of storage.

Daily/Short Term Storage

  • Full Pre-Payment Needed + Same amount as Security Deposit
  • Booking must specify total days of booking.
  • Customers not collecting their Baggage will default automatically into Long Term storage after 30 days with first days fully applicable to normal short term storage rates. Short & Long Term storage fees will be applied!
  • Short Term Storage wanting to use less then 30 days a flat rate applies after 30 days.
  • Baggage not collected after specified booking dates will be held for 6 months, after it will be destroyed.
  • Storage Terms & Conditions apply of third party leased hub facility.

Express Service

  • Full Pre-Payment Needed.
  • Dedicated service from collection with straight delivery. The maximum waiting time is 15 minutes, each minute will be charged at 2 AED per minute.
  • Curbside baggage collection and drop-off, express fee of 40 AED applies.
  • Door to door service will be charged at 10 AED per bag with no elevators max. weight of 32kg per bag.
  • Order is maximum 20 bags for this service per van, above would be considered VIP service.

Long Term Storage +30 days

  • Full Pre-Payment Needed for less than 60 Days.
  • For 60+ days automatic credit card charge will be monthly, for cash buyers we need full payment of term + 1 Month Security Deposit.
  • Booking must specify total month of booking and days at booking days.
  • Rental is based on 30 days monthly rental and is not subject for daily basis. When services are used for 45 days, two months rental will apply.
  • Earlier removal of Baggage and delivery requires a one-time 250 AED removal & 50 AED extra delivery charge.
  • Baggage not collected after specified booking dates will be held for 6 months, after it will be destroyed if no payment has been received.
  • Customers booking min storage and want to collect less than 30 days will be subject to Short Term Storage unless point 7 applies.

Door to Door – International Shipping

  • Full Pre-Payment Needed.
  • Insurance value is your invoice value, if different please talk to our customer service.
  • Transit time describes normal services from collection to your delivery destination, excluding customs clearance.
  • Services are provided by third party partners and their Terms of Service & Conditions will apply that you will agree on when placing your order.

VIP Service

  • Full Pre-Payment Needed.
  • Dedicated team up to two handlers & one van for six hours within the UAE.
  • Anything above six hours will be charged per minute.
  • Vans: one van can hold up to 40 bags depending on size, please check with customer service. In-case of XL baggage and two vans needed this will be charged in addition to a VIP service fee.
  • Service includes door-to-door service, with max. weight of 32kg per bag – handlers will deliver to your property. BaggageTAXI has no liability for any damage that has occurred within or to your property from utilizing this service.

Partner & Alliances Special Services

As per service description.

Passenger Transportation, Storage Service

  • Full Pre-Payment Needed.
  • BaggageTAXI may offer passenger transportation services directly or through third-party service providers, subcontractors, or affiliated partners.
  • Price is per vehicle and bags managed pending vehicle size.
  • Cancellations or changes must be done 12hrs before booking. Full cancellations fee of paid fares apply, if from personal behalf and not airline or force majeure related.
  • Type of vehicles: Tourist vans (bus) and luxury vehicles are available.

8. Pricing and Payment

Fees for our Services shall be displayed on our Platforms and is applicable at the time that you make your Booking.

We require advanced payment prior us confirming a Booking for all. We accept payment by credit card or debit card or, Apple Pay etc. for guaranteed bookings.

For Members Only - we guarantee our confirmation of services and accept cash payments.

All pricing are inclusive of VAT.

Each party shall be responsible for paying its own bank charges.

If you fail to pay any fees owed to us on time, then interest shall be applied by BaggageTAXI to such late payment at the prevailing interest rate communicated by the UAE Central Bank calculated on a daily basis from the date such fees became due and payable/from the date of the invoice.

You shall account and be liable for your own taxes, including but not limited to any taxes on your income, assets or employees.

9. Discount/Promo Code Usage

Bookings made using discount/promo codes and/or special discounted rates are final and non-refundable under any circumstances once booked.

By using a discount/promo code and/or accepting the special discounted rates, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued for such bookings.

In case the booking is cancelled within the eligible cancellation period, BaggageTAXI will provide you with credit on your account for the service that has not been redeemed.

This term is not applicable for customers booking through our Holiday Home partners & affiliates.

10. Baggage Reduction Policy

Any adjustments made to reduce the quantity of baggage within booking window of 2 hours prior booking, before or at the time of collection will result in a credit being issued to your accounts' digital wallet with BaggageTAXI, referred to as a "Bagxi Credits"

This credit will be applied to future bookings and cannot be redeemed for cash or returned to the original payment method.

11. Representations & Warranties

You will ensure that all baggage is given to us at the Collection Point within the Collection Period and that all baggage is as specified in the Booking.

You will ensure that all baggage is properly closed and secure, and that the weight of any one piece of baggage does not exceed 32 kg.

You warrant that the baggage conforms to the requirements of Standard Baggage as outlined in these Terms.

You warrant to us that the baggage is free of any Prohibited Items and/or does not contain any Prohibited Item.

You warrant to us that you have full and complete authority to submit the baggage to our Services and, in the event, you are leaving or entrusting the baggage with a hotel concierge, travel representative or any other third-party person at the Collection Point, you:

  • warrant that you have done all things necessary to ensure that such person has been granted full and complete authority to represent your interests in respect of the Services and acknowledge that we shall be entitled to treat any such person as your lawful authorized representative.
  • you expressly assume all risk in respect of any third-party representation at the Collection Point and/or Delivery Point; and
  • You waive all claims against us and release us from any liability in relation to our collection, storage or delivery of the baggage in this manner.

You warrant that you are acting at all times in respect of the Services in conformity and accordance with all applicable law.

You warrant that you have completed the Booking request accurately.

You warrant that you have maintained appropriate travel or other insurance on the baggage commensurate to the value of the contents of the baggage for which we are providing the Services.

You will pay us all Fees for our Services.

You remain responsible and liable for understanding and abiding by any maximum baggage allowance set by the relevant airline; and

If we are unable to provide you with the Service that is the subject of a Booking due to you not being present at the:

  • Collection Point within the Collection Period then we may cancel your Booking, and you will forfeit any paid pricing in respect of that Booking; or
  • Collection Point within the Collection Period then we may store your baggage until an alternative collection appointment is arranged with you and you will reimburse us for all costs that we incur.

12. Collection & Security

BaggageTAXI: We shall ensure that the Services are provided with reasonable skill and care;

Security:

  • Each baggage piece will be secured with a tamper free security seal that has an individual barcode that is scanned onto our platform for security reasons.
  • You are liable for any personal goods/items you have put in your luggage, BaggageTAXI carries no liability as we do not check your baggage.
  • BaggageTAXI holds the right to have any baggage X-Rayed/Scanned as per local government needs.
  • We will not open or search for your bag without your consent unless we are required to do so by government authorities, police, or airport security authorities.

We will use all reasonable endeavors to collect your baggage at the Collection Point during the Collection Period and to deliver your baggage to the Delivery Point during the Delivery Period.

We will not be required to provide the Services to you if:

  • events beyond our reasonable control mean that it is impossible or impractical for us to do so, including but not limited to an event of Force Majeure;
  • your baggage does not meet the security or safety requirements at any airport or at any other location where your baggage may be held or be in transit; or
  • you fail to deliver your baggage to the Collection Point within the Collection Period set out in your Booking.
  • you are a cash customer and have not registered as a member.
  • you fail to provide a passport copy on your booking.
  • you will not authorize us to secure your bags with our seals.

In case deemed appropriate by BaggageTAXI:

  • we will place a secure non-breakable security tag on your bags at the Collection Point.
  • or will place our own locks on your baggage at the Collection Point.
  • All the above will be done in front of you as tags will also be scanned.

For the avoidance of doubt, the precautionary steps defined in Article 10.1 hereinabove shall not imply acceptance of responsibility of loss or damage to your baggage. BaggageTAXI shall under no circumstances be held liable for, nor be responsible for any loss or damage to your baggage.

We will store your baggage at the Storage Location prior to your Baggage Pick-Up at the Delivery Point.

You must collect your baggage from the Delivery Point during the Delivery Period. If you fail to do so, we shall be entitled to charge you additional storage fees and for redelivery to the Delivery Point as per Clause 12.

In the event you ask us to deliver your baggage to a third party, then we will endeavor to deliver to that third party and will be discharged from any responsibility or liability in respect of such delivery to the designated third-party. BaggageTAXI may require proof of identification from the designated third-party indicated in the Booking (or a representative thereof) or any person that we are subsequently instructed to deliver to by you.

If you fail to attend at the Baggage Collection within three hours of the scheduled Delivery Period, your baggage will be put in storage within 12 hours of the actual Collection Period which was the start of the booking, we reserve the right to leave the Delivery Point and immediately cancel the Service.

13. Airport - Lost Baggage Payment

We have successfully retrieved many lost baggage in the past, and we're committed to assisting you, however, please note that the final decision to release the baggage rests with the airports' baggage services.

If, by any chance, the representative is unable to release the baggage, the fees paid will not be refunded as our dedicated handler will have already worked to retrieve your baggage from the airport.

14. Booking Cancellation & Amendments (price varies per country)

Subject to the conditions herein, a booking may be amended or cancelled directly through the Platforms or by sending an email with the Booking details to [email protected]. Any amendment or cancellation of a Booking is confirmed and completed only when we send a confirmation e-mail/WhatsApp is sent to you.

You may amend a Booking at any time provided that the amendment is received and confirmed by us more than two hours prior to the Collection Period.

Any changes made in less than 2 hours of scheduled collection or delivery time, including but not limited to changes in time, location, or rescheduling, will incur an amendment fee of 80 AED in Dubai.

If the change in location involves collection or delivery to or from an Emirate other than the one initially booked, an additional fee will be applied on top of the 80 AED amendment fee. The additional fee will be calculated based on the Emirate to which the location is changed.

Customers booking via WhatsApp will receive an agreement send that must be OTP mobile number verified and agreed Terms & Conditions and the prohibited items not part of their checked baggage to our service.

If a Booking is cancelled:

  • Free cancellations if the booking is cancelled in more than 2 hours of scheduled collection time.
  • Bookings that are cancelled within 2 hours of scheduled collection time are non-refundable.
  • If the handler has already arrived to collect your baggage, last-minute cancellations in Dubai will incur an additional 99 AED fee. For other Emirates, you'll be charged 50% of the total booking price as cancellation fee in addition.
  • If you placed a booking and our handlers had made the approach of delivery or collection and you have made an error, we hold the right to charge you a one-time fee of 80 AED per approach.

If your baggage is in our possession, we may amend or cancel any Booking without refunding you any Fees:

  • In the event of any Force Majeure or where we are prevented by you from fulfilling the Service;
  • where you have provided an invalid delivery address; or
  • where we believe that you have misused our Services

and we will use reasonable endeavors to notify you of this.

15. Free Luggage Storage (price varies per country)

  • Bookings made under this category are individual bookings.
  • Eligibility of three baggage pieces for 24hrs.
  • Free Luggage Storage is applicable for customers of age 18 and above.
  • Free Luggage Storage is applicable for one booking per customer, per day, and per family name, according to their passport/ID.
  • Free Luggage Storage applies to all services for 3 bags for 24h.
  • Self-service customers that drop and pick up their bags at BaggageTAXI HQ in Dubai Media City have no charge, each additional bag above 3 is 29 AED for each additional hour.
  • Customers hailing mobile vans, one-time fee applies for one-way service of 80 AED.

Walk-in Customers

16. Packing Service Liability Disclaimer

As part of the BaggageTAXI service offering, customers may request support with the packing of baggage or other personal items. By requesting or accepting any packing assistance from the BaggageTAXI team, the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  • No Liability: BaggageTAXI, its employees, agents, or representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, misplacement, or deterioration of any items packed, regardless of the nature or value of such items.
  • Customer Responsibility: The customer is solely responsible for verifying the contents and condition of all items packed. It is the customer's duty to ensure that all belongings are correctly placed, secured, and compliant with relevant transport or customs regulations.
  • Acknowledgment: By proceeding with the packing service, the customer confirms and acknowledges that they accept full responsibility for the packed items and that BaggageTAXI is not liable for any claims, disputes, or damages arising from or in connection with the packing service.

This disclaimer forms an integral part of the service terms and is binding upon confirmation of the packing request.

17. Short & Long-Term Storage

We treat prompt payment as critical. If any amount you owe ("Your Debt") is overdue, we may take appropriate steps to recover it.

We may retain possession of your goods until full payment is received (via cash, direct debit, or cleared cheque).

Fees and charges will continue to apply at the same rate as in the agreement, even after termination in case of the initial non-payment of the agreed fees.

Access Restrictions and Handling Rights in Case of Non-Payment:

  • We may restrict your or your agent's access to the goods.
  • We may relocate the goods and charge you for any related costs.
  • We may hold, move, or dispose of goods, as necessary.
  • If fees remain unpaid; goods may be moved at your risk. We are not liable for any loss or damage and owe no duty of care.

If payment is still not made or you fail to collect the goods at the time of the delivery after the storage period has expired with no prior communication, we may sell them. Proceeds will cover:

  • Sale and removal costs,
  • Your outstanding debt,
  • Any remaining balance will be held for you (without interest).

If sale proceeds don't cover all amounts due, you must pay the remaining balance within 7 days of written notice. Interest and legal/admin fees may apply.

We will notify you (via email, call, text, or WhatsApp) at least 30 days before any sale, specifying the outstanding debt and requesting payment.

We will attempt to sell goods at a fair market price, accounting for associated sale costs.

If goods cannot be sold or remain unsold, we may treat them as abandoned and dispose of them at your expense with no whatsoever liability on the company or its employees.

Cancellation of an annual subscription may be permitted upon management approval in the event of job loss, provided satisfactory proof of unemployment is submitted.

18. Other Charges

Pricing Transparency – Pricing varies seasonality, starting from 29 AED (price varies per country) per bag and services starting from Free to 159 AED (price varies per country) for the first two items Dubai, other Emirates like Abu Dhabi may vary. All pricing is included VAT.

Any promotional discounts could be applied and denied if not issued from BaggageTAXI.

Any promotional discount in conjunction with another discounted rate, Bagxi credit is not eligible for joint usage. BaggageTAXI holds the right of refusal of any promotions or discount codes.

In case of failure to collect your baggage at the Collection Point within the Collection Period, we retain the right to charge you the full amount of your booking.

Do note that "One Baggage Booking'' will include a maximum hold time of 24hours.

If your baggage is not collected within 24 hours of the initial Collection Period, you will be charged a storage fee.

Daily storage pricing can be retrieved through our booking channels.

Daily timing and rates are in a 24hrs period.

After 14 calendar days of storage, your baggage will be put on long-term storage and we will charge you per pricing terms. Whereas the first month will be charged 30 days short term storage + the remaining month, will be charged long-term storage fees.

If you do not collect or pay for your baggage within the Collection Period for the Baggage Collection, we will be entitled to store your baggage until it is delivered to you. The daily storage fee is as per your booking period and updated pricing can be applied.

General re-delivery of your baggage is 80 AED (price varies per country) as a amendment fee if made within 2 hours of booking period. For UAE transit rates apply as per platform current pricing schedule.

If your baggage is heavier than 32kg, we reserve the right to charge you for extra weight at a rate of 10 AED for every additional 5kg or part thereof.

if your baggage is "Oversize'' (bigger than the size indicated in the "Luggage" definition), an additional fee will be charged.

We have the right to have your baggage weighed and measured at any time during the provision of the Services.

19. Liability & Indemnity

BaggageTAXI will not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage caused by/or due to:

  1. Customer's negligence;
  2. BaggageTAXI complying with laws, government rules, regulations or orders;
  3. Inherent defect, quality or vice of the baggage;
  4. Customer's failure to comply with the Terms;
  5. Improper or insufficient packing of contents in the baggage;
  6. Handling, loading, unloading or Delivery of the baggage;
  7. Act of God; or
  8. Any other cause beyond BaggageTAXI's control.

Provided however that nothing in this Clause will relieve us from liability, or prejudice any claim by you in respect of loss or damage to baggage proved to be due to our wilful misconduct or the wilful misconduct of our employees or subcontractors.

The customer indemnifies, and agrees to keep indemnified, BaggageTAXI against any claim which arises, either directly or indirectly, from your failure to comply with these Terms including but not limited to cost or expenses incurred by BaggageTAXI in defending such claim.

You agree to pay, on a full indemnity basis, all costs and expenses (including legal fees) that are incurred by us in the recovery of outstanding amounts from you and/or the enforcement of these Terms.

All risks associated with storage of goods with us remain with you. You are solely responsible for the goods at all times and for any claims (including but not limited to any third party claim) regarding loss, misuse or damage to the goods or facility or any injury to any person, which is caused or contributed to by your act or omission or the act or omission of your agents in using the facility.

You acknowledge and agree that you remain the owner of the goods and we do not take any ownership title in the goods.

Customers who have opted to include packing services and shipment must indemnify, hold harmless, and defend us against any claims arising directly or indirectly from your failure to comply with these Terms.

You confirm, understand and agree that you have adequate and full insurance coverage for your baggage and personal items.

You agree that the limitation of liability contained in these Terms represents a reasonable allocation of risk and that the limitations in these Terms will apply regardless of whether such liability arises in contract, tort, negligence, equity or otherwise.

  • Waiver of Claims: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer waives all claims, damages, and remedies available, including but not limited to those provided under applicable consumer protection laws, except for those arising from BaggageTAXI's or its representatives' willful misconduct. The maximum liability of BaggageTAXI for any claims related to the services shall be limited to the lower of:
    • The value of the damaged baggage; or
    • A maximum of USD 500 per booking or per baggage
  • Baggage left in storage for more than six (6) months without payment shall be deemed abandoned. BaggageTAXI reserves the right to dispose of such baggage without further notice and shall have no liability to the Customer for such disposal. All costs associated with disposal shall be borne by the Customer.

    20. Bag/Personal items protection

    1. BaggageTAXI will store customer's items in a secure facility. While in storage, standard care practices apply, including but not limited to climate control and pest management.
    2. Lost or damaged baggage must be reported to BaggageTAXI immediately upon discovery. Any claim for compensation must be submitted within 48 hours of baggage delivery or the scheduled delivery time (whichever is earlier) via email to [email protected] along with photographs of the damage and an itemized list of lost/damaged contents.
    3. Bag Protection does not cover:
      • Any prohibited or restricted items
      • Damage to contents due to inadequate packing by the customer
      • Normal wear and tear, minor scuffs, or cosmetic damage to baggage exteriors
    4. To enable BaggageTAXI to investigate any claim, we may request proof of purchase and value of lost or damaged items along with photographs of damaged items or baggage.
    5. To qualify for Bag Protection compensation, Customers must:
      • Report any damage or loss within 48 hours of delivery or scheduled delivery time
      • Provide photographic evidence of damage
      • Provide an itemized list of damaged/lost contents with values
      • Cooperate with BaggageTAXI's investigation process
      • Allow BaggageTAXI to inspect the damaged baggage if requested
      • Customers must have a valid booking for Storage Service and present proof of payment. Customers must demonstrate that:
        • The baggage was properly packed and sealed;
        • The damage occurred while the baggage was in BaggageTAXI's possession;
        • The claim is submitted within the required timeframe.
      • Provide any additional documentation requested by BaggageTAXI within 7 days of request
    6. BaggageTAXI reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide monetary compensation for approved claims at its sole discretion.
    7. Compensation decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and may take up to 30 business days to process.

    21. Liability for Illegal Goods

    The Customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for ensuring that all items stored with BaggageTAXI comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.

    The Customer shall indemnify and hold BaggageTAXI harmless from any liability, fines, penalties, or damages arising from the storage of illegal, prohibited, or restricted items.

    BaggageTAXI reserves the right to report any suspected illegal items to the appropriate authorities and cooperate fully with any investigation.

    In case of discovery of illegal items, BaggageTAXI may immediately terminate services without refund and dispose of the items as required by law.

    22. Reviews

    You may be invited by us to submit reviews of our Services. If you accept our invitation, any review you submit to us must comply with these Terms. We have the right to remove, edit or reject any review in our sole discretion.

    23. Data privacy

    Any personal information which you supply to us via the Platforms and/or when you make a Booking will be handled and stored by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.baggagetaxi.com/privacy-policy

    By accessing the Platforms and/or providing information in relation to our Services, you consent to our collection, retention, usage and disclosure of personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

    You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data stored by us, subject to legal requirements and legitimate business purposes.

    We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in delivering our services, but only to the extent necessary and under strict confidentiality agreements.

    Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Booking data is generally retained for up to one year unless you are a registered user or there is a legal basis for retaining it longer. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].

    24. Right of Service Refusal

    By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge and agree that BaggageTAXI reserves the right to refuse services to any customer who engages in threatening behavior or uses offensive language in public spaces in public forums, including but not limited to social media platforms, review websites, and public events regarding the brand. Such behavior includes but is not limited to verbal threats, harassment, derogatory language, and defamation directed towards BaggageTAXI or its affiliates. We are committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment for our employees, customers, and the public. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of services and legal action if deemed necessary.

    25. Prohibited Items & Dangerous Goods Policy

    Our policy aims to ensure the safety of all customers & passengers and the aircraft itself by strictly prohibiting the transportation of certain items that may pose risks or cause harm. Prior to your travel, we strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with our Prohibited Items & Dangerous Goods Policy to avoid any inconveniences.

    Please be aware that in addition to the regulations set by the UAE, the acceptance of certain items such as alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, perfumes, electronics, and medication, whether in the cabin or checked-in baggage, may be subject to specific customs regulations and security checks in your country of departure or arrival.

    Forbidden Items

    Forbidden items are articles or substances that can endanger the safety of passengers or aircraft. It is strictly prohibited to bring these items on board. For a comprehensive list of forbidden items, please refer to the tables below. It's important to note that local government restrictions may apply, so we advise checking with the authorities of your departure and destination country.

    Some Airlines may prohibit the transportation of smart balance wheels, even with the lithium batteries removed, whether as checked-in or carry-on baggage.

    Banned substances in the UAE

    The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has a zero-tolerance, strict anti-drug policy. All airports in the UAE conduct thorough searches using highly sensitive equipment. Travelers entering or transiting the UAE are subject to punishment for possessing any amounts of illegal drugs.

    Bringing medication into the UAE

    If you are carrying controlled medication into the UAE, you must apply for approval through the Ministry of Health (MoH) website. It is important to consult your doctor to determine if your prescribed medication is considered controlled. For controlled medication, you must carry the prescription and the quantity should not exceed a 3-month supply. Other medications, including prescription for uncontrolled medication and over-the-counter drugs, should be in their original packaging.

    26. Miscellaneous

    These Terms (including our Privacy Policy and any other terms and conditions referenced herein) set out the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all previous agreements, arrangements and understandings between us relating to the subject matter of these Terms.

    No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of these Terms.

    You confirm that, in agreeing to accept these Terms, you have not relied on any representation that is not expressly included in these Terms.

    Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any liability for fraud.

    Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

    You may not assign these Terms or any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party without our express written consent.

    If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms.

    The provisions of these Terms that expressly or by implication are intended to survive termination or expiry of these Terms (including, but not limited to, the provisions on "Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer" and the "Governing Law and Dispute Resolution" shall survive the termination or expiry of these Terms.

    A person who is not a party to these Terms shall not have any rights to enforce these Terms.

    27. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

    Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

    The parties agree that any litigation relating to these Terms shall be conducted in the English language.

    Nothing in these Terms shall limit the right of BaggageTAXI to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction, nor shall the taking of proceedings in any one or more jurisdictions preclude the taking of proceedings in any other jurisdictions, whether concurrently or not, to the extent permitted by the law of such other jurisdiction.
